Year 2 -- Week 9

This week, the blog may be a little different, so I thought I would give you a heads up, now sit down everyone, we need to talk about ''The Grind.'' Now, when a Mr & Mrs Ironman crave a drop very very much, sometimes they do something called ''Lock In''. Now, when you lock in, you can do this on your own or with someone else, sometimes with multiple people. This doesn't always mean you'll get a drop on your first try though, sometimes you need to try lots of times, and thats something you are going to be reading about today. Mr Ironman locked in, all week, over and over again. Mrs Ironman also locked in, but in a different way, she was looking for XP rather than drops, but lets get into it and we can read all about what Mr & Mrs Ironman got up to this week.

Wednesday 07/05

Slayer and Moons

Nomadics spent an unhealthy amount of time at Moons of Peril this week, so I think we will start with his grind, and then move on to Mrs Ironman who spent an unhealthy amount of time grinding Slayer. Nomadics hit chest 91 today receiving a Duel Macuahuitl drop, allowing him to do the ''Betrayal'' combat acheivment which means he killed a Moon with their own weapon. He then hit chest 96 where he received a Blood Moon helm drop.
Mrs Ironman was well into the slayer grind today, aiming for lvl 70 Slayer, She started off the day with a Wyrms task where she completed the ''A slithery encounter'' combat acheivment as well as hitting lvl 66 Ranged, and a Dragon Knife collection log drop. She then went off to kill Ammonite Crabs and got herself lvl 61 Defence, and Hitpoints lvl 68. She then went off to kill Shadow Warriors and got herself lvl 82 Combat, and lvl 62 Defence. and because were doing a locked in blog this week, that of course wasn't it for Ros this day, she went off to kill Lesser Demons and took lvl 63 Defence, and lvl 57 Prayer. She then went off to Arceuus to change her spellbook to the Luna Spellbook at the Dark Alter completing a Medium diary task for the Kebus and Kourend area, she then reanimated Ensouled Unicorn, Imp, and Giant heads and killed them for Prayer XP giving herlsef lvl 58 Prayer, she then finished off her day taking her Wyrm bones to the Wilderness Chaos alter taking herself to lvl 59 Prayer.

Thursday 08/05

MOAR Slayer, MOAR Moons

Unfortunetly Nomadics didn't receive any notable drops today, continuing his grind at Moons, but nothing new to write to you about.

Ros continued on her Slayer grind today, starting off with Baby Blue Dragons, she got herself lvl 64 Defence, Slayer lvl 66, Prayer lvl 60 & Combat lvl 83. She then went off to kill Aberrant Spectres where she completed an Easy combat task called ''Noxious Foe'' and gained herself lvl 65 Defence, and lvl 67 Attack. She also managed to have a superior monster spawn called an Abhorrent Spectre.

Friday 09/05

Ros Slays

Nomadics took the day off today, so it was all Ros, all Slayer, all day. She kick started the day with Bloodveilds reaching lvl 67 Ranged, and 69 Hitpoints. She then got sent back to the Aberrant Spectres and managed to get herself lvl 68 Attack, and Combat lvl 84, after this she was off to Baby Blue Dragons once again and managed to hit lvl 67 Slayer, and then finished off her day completing the quest ''Heart of Darkness'' where she received Access to Tapoyauik as well as 8,000 Mining XP, 8,000 Thieving XP, 8,000 Slayer XP, and 8,000 Agility XP.

Saturday 10/05

Good Things Come In Small Updates

Nomadics was back at the Moons today, where he opened chest 117 and received Blood Moon Tassets, completing the full Blood Moon set, and then managed to hit the back to back drop with a Blue Moon helm at chest 118.

Ros only managed to complete the ''Kings Ransom'' quest today giving herself a whopping 33,000 Defence XP, 5,000 Magic XP, an Antique Lamp, as well as access to the Knight Waves Training Ground.

Sunday 11/05

Good Things Also Come In Bigger Updates

Nomadics managed to grab himself another Combat Acheivment called ''Perilous Dancer'' for not taking any damage from the Bosses Special Attacks. He also open chest number 150 and received an Eclipse Moon Helm, then on chest 153 he received Blue Moon Chest Plate completing the Blue Moon gear set, and then in a twist no one saw coming, he stepped away from the Moons grind for a moment and took himself off to Tears of Guthix and collected 213 tears for a new Personal Best.

Ros was back on the questing and managed to complete ''Meat & Greet'' giving her 8,000 Cooking XP, and acess to Emelio's Kebab Shop. She then completed ''Path of Glouphrie'' and received Poison Waste Dungeon access, and a HUGE 30,000 Strength XP Lamp, 20,000 Slayer XP Lamp, 5,000 Theiving XP Lamp, 5,000 Magic XP Lamp. She then completed the ''Royal Trouble'' quest where she received 5,000 Agility XP, 5,000 Slayer XP, 5,000 Hitpoints XP as well as 20,000 coins and Increased Miscellania resources. She then finished off the day completing ''Land of the Goblins'' quest where she got heartbreak over Zanik 8,000 Agility XP, 8,000 Herblore XP, 8,000 Theiving XP, 8,000 Fishing XP. She then finished off the day at Tears of Guthix and received lvl 57 Construction.

Monday 12/05 

MO' Questing, MO' Moons

Nomadics opened chest 193 for a duplicate Blue Moon Helm while target farming just two of the bosses for loot. 

Ros continued on her questing grind, completing ''Regicide'' for access to Tirannwn, 13,750 Agility XP and 15,000 Coins. She then took herself off to GotR for lvl 66 Runecrafting, but she soon decided enough was enough of that and went off to do a few more quests, She managed to complete ''Monkey Madness 1'' allowing her to weild a Dragon Scimitar, as well as giving her access to Ape Atoll, 10,000 coins, 3 Diamonds and access to Daero's Training as well as hitting Strength lvl 66, Attack lvl 69, Defence lvl 66, and Combat lvl 85 which allows her to be given tasks from the next tier of Slayer Master. She then went off to complete the quest ''Roving Elves'' where she received 10,000 Strength XP and access to Crystal equipment.

Tuesday 13/05

Pain, Suffering, And Of Course, Moons

Nomadics was at a slight disadvantage today, having sliced the tip of his clicking finger making a salad, and they say eating healthy is good for you, but even with that, he managed to get himself 93 Hitpoints and another duplicate Blue Moons Chestplate on chest 215. He then bought Feathers to make headless arrow shafts while target farming just the Eclipse moon to green log Perilous Moons.

Ros was still on her questing grind where she completed ''Mourning's End Part 1'' giving her 40,000 Theiving XP and 25,000 Hitpoints XP putting her at 70 Hitpoints. She then completed ''Mourning's End Part 2'' where she experianced nothing but pain and suffering failing the wall climb agility part of the puzzle 69,420 times over and having to run back to the bank 420,000 times for extra prayer potions and food, but she finally completed it with gritted teeth, high blood pressure and about 2hrs later gaining access to the Death Alter, allowing her to make Death Runes, and 60,000 Agility XP putting her at lvl 71 Agility.

Well, that wraps us up for this week everyone! Ros and Nomadics have obviously been grinding hard in different ways this week so lets just straight into the numbers and see whats happened with the stats and the hi-scores!
