Year 2 - Week 3

 Wednesday 26/03

Clues & Slayer

Mrs Ironman kicked this week off strong with some Slayer, killing Hobgoblins giving herself lvl 52 Hitpoints & lvl 53 Strength. While doing so she got an Easy clue scroll drop and went off to complete that bagging herself another collection log item which was a Bronze Plateskirt (g). She then went off for another Slayer task and found herself killing Sand Crabs gaining another Easy clue, as well as lvl 46 Slayer, lvl 54 Strength, lvl 65 Combat, she then completed her Easy clue and got another collection log item of Purple Sweets. Mrs Ironman fully belived 3rd time was the charm and went off for yet another Slayer task killing Ghouls and while doing so, she managed to complete an Easy diary requirement in the Morytania area.

Nothing to Report from Mr Ironman for today so a sweet and easy update to start the week!

Thursday 27/03

Slash, Stab, Repeat

Thats right folks, its another day, another SLAY, but first, we had some home repairs to do, not our PoH's though, oh no. This was Mahogany Homes, Mrs Ironman went running around Gielinor fixing up homes and doing much needed repairs for those who needed it. She completed multiple contracts for Mahogany Homes and walked away once she had reached lvl 50 Construction.

She then thought about her idle hands and decided to take herself off for a little more Slayer. She was tasked with killing Shades and managed to bag herself lvl 55 Strength, lvl 57 Magic, 53 Hitpoints, lvl 46 Prayer, lvl 66 Combat and lvl 47 Slayer, on top of all this she also managed to grab and complete a Medium Clue scroll and unlocked a new music track as well as snagging yet more collection log items which were; White Firelighters, an adament Platebody and a few more Purple Sweets.

Mr Ironman came in full force and in a completely unexpected turn of events found himself back at Barrows. (Name a better duo, except that time he spent alomst as much time at Wintertodt) BUT and its a big BUT, this time, beleive it or not, he had a bit of luck! (no, really, we have proof and everything!) He managed to not oly get a drop, but he got TWO drops! Who saw that coming?! Ok, one of them was a duplicate, but lets not split hairs when it comes to Nomadics and his Barrows luck, hey?

Yes, Mr Ironman managed to pull off the turn around of the centrury (or very much at least the turn around of the week) and received a duplicate Verac's Brassardat at 416 chests, and then and this is the biggy, HE GOT THE TANK LEGS! after a very patient 434 chests, Mr Ironman can now finally, proudly, show off his Torag's platelegs that he has been wanting for so long to help progress his account.

After such a high, Mr Ironman needed to find a way to unwind, so he took himself off for some Slayer, He started a Warped Creature task and received 2 Hard clues in pretty quick succession, He managed to complete both, but because bad luck is always hiding around the corner, He got PKed for the second casket, loosing it in death, but he did receive Guthix Chaps for a collection log item from the first one.

Friday 28/03

Slayin' & Questin'

Mrs Ironman was back on the grind today, after a brief but deadly hiccup, but whats life without whimsy? She kick started the day with a Basalisks task, she had this one in the bag, shes done this before, it was easy breezy, mirror shield in hand she slayed those beasts and skipped off on her merry way, is what she wished she could say...
Thats right, Mrs Ironman made a booboo. She did indeed head off on her task, geared up and ready to fight, or at least she thought. Once she got there, something was wrong. Was there an update she wasnt aware of? What had changed to make these Basalisks so strong? Why was she struggling so much? The other person there who had said ''Nice Account'' didn't seem to be struggling...What did they have that she hadn't? apart from a braincell. Well, it turns out they had something very important that Ros had forgotten, Ros didn't even get a chance to say ''thank you'' to the complement when she found herself back in her starter clothing standing outside Lumbridge Castle wondering WHAT WAS THAT?! Well, if you know the task, you can probably guess, Ros forgot her mirror shield..A silly mistake, but a crucial piece of equipment to stop the beasts from besting you in every way possible. So back she went, geared up appropriately, shame shading her face, to find the person still there, she could have world hopped to avoid the embrassment, but she faced it head on, arriving back with a ''Lol, forgot my sheild''.

After that little mishap, She walked away, head held high, having gained lvl 56 Strength, and lvl 45 Herblore. Having had quite enough of Slayer tasks for now, Mrs Ironman decided to do some questing. She started things off with the ''Mountain Daughter'' quest and unlocked 2 new music tracks, completed a Medium diary task in the Fremennik area and completed the quest for 2,000 Prayer XP, 1,000 Attack XP and a Bear Head. She then started ''Olaf's Quest'' and unlocked a new music track, and finished it off gaining 12,000 Defence XP giving her lvl 49 Defence, 20,000 coins, 4 Rubies, and Brine Rat Cavern access. She then finished off the day with the ''Queen of Thieves'' quest, unlocking yet another music track, 2,000 coins, 2,000 Thieving XP and a memoir page. She finished the day with a Total Level of 1294.

Saturday 29/03

Questing

Saturday was a full on day of questing for our little adventurers, There is very much an unofficial race for that questing cape right now, Nomadics is very much in the lead but Ros is determined to catch up. Will the quest cape be her first cape? who knows. 
Mrs Ironman started off the day with a quest she's not been looking forward to for a while now, ''Ratcatchers'' IYKYK. While there, she unlocked 3 new music tracks, completed a Meduim task in the Falador area, and finished up the quest gaining 4,500 Thieveing XP, and access to the Rat Pits.

She then completed the ''Scorpion Catcher'' quest for 6,625 Strength XP, and completed the ''Shades of Mort'ton'' quest for 2,000 Crafting XP & 2,000 Herblore XP. 

Nomadics took on a similar approach to the day, He started off by wrapping up his Warped Creature task, getting himself 90 Hitpoints during the task, then the questing began. He completed ''Fremennick Trials'' putting himself 17,000 XP away from lvl 70 Runecrafting, Nomadics has been working towards base 70 stats for a while now and is edging ever closer to this goal and unlocking the ability to kill Bassalisk Knights. He then moved on to ''A taste of Hope'' getting himself the Drakan Medallion for Teleports to the Theatre of Blood raid, and he also received some lamps that he used on Herblore. He then completed ''The Heart of Darkness'' unlocking a new Boss, the Amoxliatl.

MOAR QUESTING

Mrs Ironman starts us all off with ''Shadow Of The Storm'' completing that one having snagged herself two new music tracks, and 10,000 Ranged XP giving her lvl 46 Ranged, & a Darklight, She then started the ''Shilo Village'' quest and unlocked 4 new music tracks, as well as completing an easy task in the Karamja area, she completed it for access to Shilo Village and 3,875 Crafting XP giving her lvl 54 Crafting. She then completed the quest ''Wanted!'' for 5,000 Slayer XP putting herself at lvl 48 Slayer, and access to the White Knight Armoury, after this she went off to do the ''Sea Slug Menace'' quest unlocking 2 new music tracks, and gained 3,500 Crafting XP, 3,500 Runecrafting XP, 3,500 Thieving XP and promotion to Proselyte, and then because this wasn't enough she then went on to complete ''Sprits of Elid'', ''Tai Bwo Wannai Trio'', and ''Tail of two cats'' giving Ros 4 new music tracks, completed a medium task in the desert area, lvl 47 Prayer, 1,000 Thieving XP, 1,000 Magic XP, Access to Nardah's Shrine, 5,000 Fishing XP, 5,000 Cooking XP, 2,500 Attack XP, 2,500 Strentgh XP, a mouse toy and lvl 46 Herblore. 

Nomadics decided to start his day with violence, he took himself off to try out the new Amoxliail Boss for the combat achievments up to 20 Kills, leaving the speed trials and using a weapon dropped by the boss, as the only tasks left for him to complete.

He then completed the quest ''Sins of the Father'' giving him access to Darkmeyer, which unlocks a new Combat AFK method in Vyrewatch Sentinals and agility training in the Hallowed Sepulchre, it also rewarded him with 90,000 XP in lamps which he used to give himself lvl 73 Herblore allowing him to boost with a Botanical Pie to make Stamina Potions. He then did some GotR for lvl 70 Runecrafting, giving him the base 70 stats he's been aiming for. 

He then finished off the day with a Dust Devil task from the Slayer Master, he used Ice Barrage to kill over 200 getting himself lvl 77 Defence on the way and 103 Combat lvl.

Monday 31/03

Bases and Slays

Mrs Ironman kicked the day in the day off with one more quest and completed ''Tale of the Righteous'' unlocking 4 more music tracks and also got herself a new Memoir page. She then took some time to do some Fletching until she hit lvl 50, and then took herself off for some Slayer tasks, starting with Harpie Bug Swarms where she hit lvl 67 Combat, as well as lvl 57 Strength and 54 Hitpoints. She then killed Ghouls for lvl 50 Defence and Ankou for lvl 49 Slayer and an Ancient Shard collection log item.She then killed Moss Giants using Ranged attack for lvl 46 Ranged and stayed until she hit lvl 50 gaining lvl 55 Hitpoints in the process. She then headed off to kill Kalphites for lvl 58 Strength, lvl 68 Combat, and also unlocked a new music track, and then she finished off with Ammonite Crabs giving herself lvl 50 Slayer and & lvl 54 Attack meaning she just needed to train Herblore & Prayer for base 50's.

Thankfully Nomadics had some herbs going spare which meant she could clean them & make potions to give her the lvl 50 Herblore she needed and putting herself at a Total Level of 1319 for the day.

Nomadics had a Wyrms slayer task and got himself lvl 82 Slayer as well as collecting the bones for Mrs Ironman to use to up her Prayer level. He then received his first Basalisk Knights slayer task and in a twist of RNG no one would have seen coming, he received a 1 in 1000 drop on kill 3, but as it goes with Nomadics, it was the Basalisk Head that dropped and not the Basalsik Jaw he was after, both have the same drop rate.

Tuesday 01/04

No funny business here!

Today was the day for Mrs Ironman, she took herself back off to the Chaos Alter in the Wilderness with the Wyrm bones Nomadics so kindly donated and after a breif couple of trips managed to gain lvl 50 Prayer and bag herself that base 50's.

After feeling a little acomplished, the reality dawned on her that in order to get to her next goal of base 70s, she would need to do more Agility. To make the deal a little sweeter, she decided to take herself off and get a Graceful recolour. Gone is the boring cream, Hello new look!

Ros decided Aglitly was less painful when you look so sitalish doing it, and managed to take herself to lvl 66 Agility, she then finished off the day at GotR for lvl 62 Runecrafting.

Mr Ironman had a slightly less eventful day but still important all the same, He continued killing Basalisk Knights and managed to get himself lvl 92 Ranged, putting him offically half way to lvl 99 and the Ranged cape! 

Thats it for our wild aventurers for this week! So it is time to look at the stats and the leaderboard and see how much has changed!
