Week 5 (Day 24 - Day 29)

 Day 24:

Stars in their Mines

Today was a bit of a slow day for both Ros and Nomadics, Ros completed a Beginner casket taking her stack to 9. Then she mined a star in Al Kharid, and gained enough stardust to trade in for a Celestial Ring, she then went on to mine more stars for lvl 67 Mining.
She then went on to steal goods from the bakers stall for lvl 41 Thieving and Pickpocketed the Master Farmer for a Medium Ardougne diary task and took the seeds she gained from this to get lvl 22 Farming.

Nomadics completed more Fruit tree runs and got himself lvl 43 Farming, Then went back to Wintertodt to get 300 Killcount, giving him lvl 39 Construction, lvl 60 Woodcutting, and lvl 92 Firemaking. He then used Raw FIsh from supply crates to gain himself lvl 57 in Cooking. 

There wasn't a whole lot going on today but with those level increases and the XP gained, it did push them up the Hi-score ranks a few spots!

Day 25:

 Just Ros

(see what I did there? Only people that follow Ros on socials/Twitch will see what was done there) 

Nomadics took the day off the grind today (Ros would say he needs to ''Get Good'') So there isn't any updates for Mr Ironman on this one, it really is Just Ros.

Ros was a mildly busy bee today, especially where Diaries are concerned! She completed a lap of Seer's Village Agility Course for a Hard diary task in the Kandarin area, and on top of this she also played the Organ in Seer's church, picked 5x Flax from the field, had Brother Galahad make a cup of tea, walked across the Coal Truck log shortcut, bought a bowl of stew in the pub, spoke to Sherlock, and planted Jute seeds all for Easy diary tasks in Kandarin. She also gained a collection log item which were ''Camo Bottoms'' from a Random Event, Chopped some trees for lvl 33 Woodcutting and Pick pocket the Master Farmer for more seeds and lvl 42 Thieving. 

She then did a few farming runs and made some compost for lvl 42 Farming. 

Even though Ros didn't manage to gain too many levels today, The Hi-scores are forever climbing!

Day 26:

 Stars, Scrolls & Wizard Robes

It's a bit of a slow news day again today, Ros was mining stars and received an Easy and a Beginner clue geode, She completed these and received 1x Steel Plate Legs and 34x Air Runes from the Easy and 1x Iron Platebody (t), 9,985 gold and 8x Tai Wannai teleports. The teleports and the Iron Platebody (t) are both collection log items.

She then entered the Mining Guild wearing her full Prospectors outfit for a Hard diary task in the Falador area, and built some extra rooms on her Player Owned House, and built some furniture inside them giving her lvl 22 Construction. She then continued mining stars and received another beginner clue geode, completed it and opened the casket receiving 1x Earth Staff & 1x Longbow, she also managed to hit lvl 69 from Star Mining.

Nomadics spent a good chunk of time AFK Mining at Motherlode Mine today, he managed to bump his skill stats from 58 to 61. He also killed a Blue Wizard for MrsIronman, so she could use the Blue Wizards top for one of the steps in her clue scroll, giving him lvl 17 Defence and lvl 14 Prayer.

These level increases have once again helped boost the hi-score rankings, creeping slowly, but surely, closer to the top 1,000 spot!

Day 27:

 Nomadics Steals The Show

Thats right folks, after a quiet few days, Nomadics comes back with full force, He started off in Motherlode Mine grabbing himself some of those good ol' Golden Nuggets, and kept the wheels turning giving him lvl 42 Smithing. He completed some Herb farming runs, getting enough Harralander to get lvl 41 Herblore, He then boosted with a Botanical Pie to 45 Herblore and started making Super Attack Potions giving him a total lvl 43 in Herblore. 
He then spent some time mining Sandstone, getting 800 buckets of Sand (which will be handy later for making Molten Glass and helping with Construction lvls) and gaining lvl 62 Mining.

And because, it wouldn't be a true Nomadics day without of course visiting Wintertodt, He went and got himself a 2nd Tome of Fire, lvl 40 Construction, lvl 61 Fletching, lvl 61 Woodcutting, and lvl 93 Firemaking from there, and then finished off the day with some AFK Woodcutting at Seer's Village for some Maple Logs and getting himself lvl 62 Woodcutting. 

Ros was however still on her Star Mining frenzy, adamant to get enough Stardust to colour her Prospectors outfit. She managed to get 2 Beginner Clue Geodes while doing so, and took her Casket stack up to 11, and reached lvl 70 Mining. She currently sits at 8,316 Stardust and is aiming for 12.000 to colour the full Prospectors outfit. 

Thanks to Nomadics bumping through the levels, we shot up the hi-score rankings again and are now very close to being within the #1,000.

Day 28:

 Nomadics goes solo and disaster stuck

Nomadics had a day of it today and carried the team, Ros took the day off so the rank climbing was all down to him and he learned what it's like to be poisoned! He started off with some woodcutting, hitting lvl 63 at Maple Trees, a great start, some might say, Then he made some choices...

He started off a Medium clue scroll, and while doing it, he found himself being attacked by a villager in Karamja. These villagers are known for their poison dart attack, he got hit! The poison gave him a hit of 11 poison damage, if he had not been so prepared, that would have been the end of our Hardcore status, but luckily he managed to teleport out of there to the Ferox enclave, and he had food on him to heal with so he could buy himself some time to cleanse the poison at the pool in the enclave. A fate Ros was not so lucky to have just last week. 

He then went on to finish the clue scroll, having narrowly avoided a death, and received Green D'hide Chaps which will be a helpful upgrade when he starts to train his Ranged skill. 

After such a harrowing adventure, he took himself off to Wintertodt, and got himself lvl 94 Firemaking, as well as lvl 41 Construction and lvl 62 Fletching. After this, he managed to have the chance at the Dunce random event, and used the XP tome he received from that on his Construction to take that to lvl 42.

After all this, he then used the Maple Logs he received from yesterday's grind, and some Willow Logs from Wintertodt, to reach lvl 63 Fletching, and cast the Superheat spell on some Gold ore he had in his bank from Motherlode Mine giving himself lvl 48 Magic and lvl 44 Smithing, He then used the Gold bars to make some Teleport Jewellery for lvl 46 Crafting and used the last of it to make Gold Tiaras for lvl 48 Crafting. 

A fantastic grind from Nomadics today, all those level increases have really helped shoot us up the hi-score ranks and bring us ever close to that top #1,000 goal.

Day 29:

Grinds & Goals

If you don't know RuneScape, a lot of these posts will seem quite lacklustre, and Ros knows that feeling well, before she started playing she would think about how saying something like ''I just got this level in this skill'' wouldn't feel all that impressive from the outside, but if you play, you know just how much goes into some of these grinds and just how rewarding seeing those pop ups can feel. With all that being said, lets dive into the grinds that both Ros and Nomadics have faced today. 

Ros started off with a couple laps of Seer's Village Agility, As much as Ros loves just running laps of agility she really isn't enjoying Seer's course as much as some of the others she has done, at the moment, Catherby has been one of her favourites so far but is looking forward to unlocking Ardgune.
She took off from this and grind out a fair few levels of Woodcutting and Firemaking gaining 9 total lvls in Woodcutting taking her to lvl 43 and 14 in Firemaking taking her to lvl 44. Alongside this she got a few birds nest drops of which one of those contained an Easy Clue Scroll which she completed and opened for a Black Battleaxe and a Willow Longbow. 

Nomadics started off with some Farming runs, using some Ranarr seeds he received from yesterday's Wintertodt grind giving him lvl 45 Farming, which unlocked the ability to grow Maple Trees. He then planted some Maple Saplings that should be ready for him tomorrow. He then went off and did some AFK Barbarian Fishing and got himself lvl 65 Fishing, lvl 41 Strength, and lvl 42 Agility and that took him to over 1000 total levels. 

All this levelling really took the hi-score rankings up the chart a whole chunk, Placing within the first 100 pages of the leaderboard.
