Week 7 (Day 38 - Day 40)

 Day 38:

 Nomadics goes through a breakup

Ros had a pretty quiet day today, she was hamming on at some Guardians of the Rift & Tempoross. She forgot to write down her rewards for GOTR but we know she bumped a few levels gaining lvl 57 Runecrafting & lvl 44 Crafting. She then took herself off to Tempoross and received a tackle box (a collection log item) which clears up inventory space when fishing by holding all of your fishing equipment in one slot, as well as the usual planks, lobster & fish. 

Nomadics however, he had a day of it. He was at Wintertodt, and while he was there, he managed to complete his goal of 99 Firemaking, meaning he has now broken off his love affair with Wintertodt, he says he might go back, you know, for old times sake, (and that pet he's yet to receive) but for now, hes healing his broken heart with some questing. He started it off with ''Priest in Peril'' unlocking the ability to use Canifis rooftop agility course, getting lvl 45 Agility and working towards enough marks of grace to trade them in for full Graceful outfit. 

Although a quiet day in the blog, it was all pretty exciting for Mr & Mrs Ironman today. Especially with Nomadics getting that first 99 and his brand new Firemaking cape. So exciting in fact, they forgot to get the rankings stats for you to see.

Day 39:

 A day off

Today for the first day since the blog started, both Ros & Nomadics took the day off. We deliberated on whether to post anything today and just use day 39 as the next day but we decided to make this page a goals update. We spoke about goals in Ros' discord very early on (around day 4) and haven't really made an update to those yet so we thought now might be the best time, back then we spoke about our short term and long term goals, so we thought it might be fun to revisit those and see if we have achieved any yet or how it has changed for us now were a few weeks in. 

Originally we had said:

As for our goals, at the moment, one of our main goals is to drive enough XP to be within the top 1,000 hi-scores on the hardcore ironamn list without dying. Second to this, the goals become more personal.
Nomadics would like to achieve a green barrows collection log, which is a minigame where you kill 6 undead brothers, and then you navigate the tunnels underneath the crypts to open a chest at the end. The chest has a 1/16 chance of obtaining an armour piece or weapon piece from one of the brothers. Each brother has 4 pieces each, it would take roughly over 2,000 chests to obtain all of the items, considering you can collect doubles as the drops are completely at random.

For Ros, one of her long term goals is to obtain all of the pets from skilling, for instance, a raccoon for theiving and a giant squirrel from agility. these are also dropped at random and have highly varying drop rates. Some smaller more obtainable goals for us are things such as Nomadics wanting base 70 stats, which means all of his skills are at a minimum of lvl 70, at this moment, his skills range from lvl 1 to lvl 69. 

Ros however, has a current smaller goal of getting the Easy diary achievment for Lumbridge & Draynor, and the Easy Varrock Diary.

As you can likely tell, we're still some ways off some of these goals, especially the long term ones, but Ros and Nomadics are both getting quite close to their short term goals. Ros just has 3 more tasks to complete the Easy diary for Lumbridge & Draynor, and 2 more for the Varrock Diary. Nomadics has got to 99 Firemaking now,  so he has really started working on some of the other stats, so it shouldn't be too long now until he starts to see himself close to those base 70's. 

For now, all the goals stay the same, but we really don't think it'll be long until we start to see some changes, especially with the short term ones.

Day 40:

 Levels Galore

Today Nomadics stole the show, he really was keeping busy catching up on all the stuff he missed while grinding out at Wintertodt. He kick started his session at Canifis Agility course, grabbing himself lvl 51 Agility, He then went on to do some questing, completing ''Nature Spirit'' giving himself 20 Defence, and 31 Hit Points. He then made some Willow Birdhouses for lvl 51 Crafting and completed ''Demon Slayer'' to unlock the ability to start ''Bone Voyage''. He completed this and then started the quest that cost Ros a life a few weeks ago ''Rag and Bone man''. Luckily Nomadics came out unscathed and got that one completed giving him lvl 20 Prayer. He then went on to complete ''A Porcine of Interest'' for lvl 13 Slayer and started the quest ''Vampire Slayer'', after completing this, he went on to complete ''Ernest the Chicken''. And because all of this wasn't enough, he completed 2 of the sub quests for ''Recipe for Disaster'' which were ''Pirate Pete'' and ''The Dwarf'' giving him lvl 16 Slayer.
After unlocking access to Fossil Island from completing ''Bone Voyage'' he went off to start some Bird House runs to give him lvl 29 Hunter and caught swamp lizards in Morytania for lvl 36 hunter unlocking Teak bird houses. He then used Teak Bird houses on his runs and got himself lvl 42 hunter, and finished off his session training combat skills at sand crabs on Zeah for lvl 48 attack, lvl 43 strength, 37 Hitpoints and lvl 30 Defence.

Ros had a much less interesting day in comparison, She spent some time at Guardians of the Rift giving herself lvl 57 Runecrafting, and lvl 44 Crafting as well as lvl 71 Mining. She then went off to do some work on her POH (Player Owned House) giving herself lvl 35 Construction. She then finished off her day with some farming, planting some veggies, herbs and trees ready to harvest tomorrow, she also managed to cook through all the fish she had received from her trips to Tempoross to gain lvl 59 Cooking. 

Once again we had forgotten to grab the rankings for you to see so we just have the stats for today, we haven't yet hit our goal of being within the top #1,000 though, so not to worry, you haven't missed it!
