Year 2 - Week 10

 A great week for in game content this week, with the release of Yama. Our bold adventurers haven't fought him yet as they're not ready, but they have been duoing another boss, you'll get to read all about that a little later in the blog. Have you been up gainst Yama? Wednesday 14/05

Just Another Day In Gielinor

Nothing out of the ordanary for our pair today, Ros kicks us off with another quest ticked of the list, she managed to complete ''A Kingdom Divided'' getting herself The Book of The Dead, 2x Antique lamps (which she used on Herblore) and opened up the Kourend Castle respawn point as well as some additional Arceuus spells. Using the lamps on Herblore also gave her lvl 64 Herblore.
She then went on to kill Basalisks for a slayer task and received a collection log drop ''Mystic Hat (Light)'' and then she went off to Barrows for the first time, and managed to cross off the combat acheivement ''Defence? What defence?''

Nomadics was still pumping out his Moons of Peril grind today, but while target farming the Eclipse Moon, he made headless arrows and got himself lvl 74 Fletching. He also managed to grab himself the Eclipse Atatl at 246 Chests.

Thursday 15/05

The Grind Never Stops

Much more of the same to report for today, a little of this, a little of that, Nomadics was still on the Moons grind, he managed to get himself lvl 76 Attack and lvl 95 Strength, but unfortunately didn't see any noteable drops today. 

Ros had a bit of a busier day, going here and there, she used her Scurrius Spine on a Rune mace and made a Bone Mace, and then she obviously had to try it out so went off to Scurrious and managed to complete the Combat Acheivement ''Sit Rat''. She then went off on a Farm run and managed to get herself lvl 73 Farming, and then decided it was time to visit the GotR, while there she managed to hit lvl 60 Crafting and lvl 68 Runecrafting. She then went back to Scurrius and completed the Combat Acheivement ''Scurrius Champion'' as well as getting herself lvl 70 Attack. Ros couldnt quite decide where to be today so headed back to Guardians of the Rift once more and reached lvl 69 Runecrafting, as well as receving the Tarnished Locket as a collection log item drop.

Friday 16/05

It All Pays Off...Eventually

Nomadics was once again spending his time with those pesky Moons, but he managed to get the Eclipse Moon Chest and Legs, completing the log at 318 Kill Count and getting the first boss Green Log! He celebrated by GOING BACK yep, you read that right, He went back, again. But, for good reason, he went and killed all 3 with just a Dragon Scimitar for the final combat acheivement meaning he will never need to go back there again! GGs Nomadics! He then celebrated properly by taking his new Bloodmoon gear and killing Amoxliatl getting himself the pendant of Ates for a teleport around Varlamore.

Ros had a busy day today, she started by continuing her grind at GotR and reached lvl 61 Crafting, and lvl 70 Runecrafting. She then completed contracts for Mahogany Homes until lvl 58 Construction, she then used her points earned up to this point to buy Carpenter's Boots which is another Collection Log item and will give a small XP boost while training Construction. She then continued at Mahogany Homes until lvl 60 Construction, and then went off for a Bird House run giving her lvl 60 Hunter.

In a twist of events, Ros got brave and went off to visit Yama, well, not too brave as she promptly ran away again without attempting battle, but she did unlock the ability to kill Greater Demons for the chance to receive Yama contract drops for later down the line. She then killed Greater Demons for a slayer task and did infact receive her first Yama Contract drop which was called Contract of Sensory Clouding. (at the time of writing, Contracts were available to receive, but the details are hidden as full release is due 23/05/2025. To find out more about Yama and the contracts, click here. For more information on this contract in particular, click here.) she also managed to get herself lvl 71 Magic, lvl 67 Strength, Combat lvl 86 & Prayer lvl 61 giving her a total level of 1550. She then added feathers to Arrow Shafts for lvl 57 Fletching, and finished off the day by killing Bloodveilds for a Slayer Task, giving her lvl 68 Slayer and lvl 68 Ranged as well as 71 Hitpoints.

Saturday 17/05

Keep Calm and Carry on Grinding

Ros had a full on day at the Champions guild today, She spent the entire day (and some of the following day, SPOILER ALERT!) Killing animated Mythril armour to gain tokens for access to the Cyclops' to kill them and get defender drops, working my way from Bronze, up to Rune.

Nomadics had a busy day today, he used his bones from the Perilous Moons grind at the Libation Bowl for lvl 81 Prayer, and 1875 total level. He then completed a Hard clue, and received a Zamorak page 3 letting him complete the unholy book for extra offensive stats and prayer bonus. He the made potions with the Herbs he received from Moons drops, for lvl 75 Herblore, and because that wasn't enough levels for him, he went off for a Bird House run and hit lvl 77 Hunter. After all that outside, Nomadics decided he had enough and went off to kill Nechryaels for a Slayer Task getting himself lvl 88 Magic from bursting. He then finished off his day by completing more Hard Clues, receiving an Armadyl page 4, a second Saradomin Kite sheild and an ancient d'hide body.

Sunday 18/05

Fire & Ice

Today our duo go to visit a new (to them) boss, so we will talk about everything they did seperately up until that point, and then as the boss is a duo boss, we will talk about that after.

Starting with Ros, as she was still with the Cyclops today, but this time she was down in the basement hunting down the Dragon Defender drop. She finally got there though, and along the way she also managed to get herself lvl 70 Strength, lvl 88 Combat, lvl 69 Defence, and 72 Hitpoints. She then completed a farm run and got herself lvl 74 Farming.

Nomadics started his day with some more Herblore training getting himself lvl 76. He then killed the Kalphite Queen, completing the Desert Hard diary which gives him Desert Amulet 3, an antique lamp, a Pharaho's Scepture, his Camulet receives an additional teleport location, makes all Carpet Rides free, Zahur will create unfinished potions and clean herbs for 200 coins, Ropes placed at Kalphite Lair entrance and Kalphite Queen tunnel entrance will now be permanent, as well as increased XP on the Pollnivneach agility course. He handed in all his long and curved bones for lvl 71 construction, and visited Tears of Guthix and received enough XP to put him to lvl 71 Runecrafting.

This is where we will talk about the bossing, as we said at the start of this segment, this is a duo boss, its called Royal Titans, so off our pair went to learn the mechanics and hope for some drops, Nomadics spicifically is looking for prayer scrolls, as well as the twin flame staff and doing this together gives them double the chance at drops as doing this solo you can only loot from one of the two bosses. After a couple rounds, they really started to get into the swing of things. Ros managed to secure a couple drops of Desicated pages, which is a collection log item, and they both managed to complete a few Combat Acheivments such as; ''I Need Room'', ''Let Them Fight'', ''Royal Titan Champion'', ''Perfect Royal Titans'' and ''I Need Room''.

Monday 19/05

Look At Us, We're The Grinders Now

Ros started off her day killing Turoths for a Slayer task, shes managed to reach lvl 70 Defence. She then headed off back to Royal Titans with Nomadics for more kills, and more hoping for drops. Nomadics managed to complete most of the Combat acheivements today, and also got himself lvl 81 Defence, as well as Combat lvl 109. Nomadics managed to get himself a fantastic drop too, he received the Giantsoul Amulet which is a teleport to all Giant Bosses. He finished off the day completing Hard Clue no.100 and got himself Guthix D'hide Boots, and a Guthix Skirt.

Tuesday 20/05

Royally Dry

Once again our adventurers are at Royal Titans searching for those drops, and to really rub salt in the wound, Nomadics receives a second amulet drop, which would be fantastic, but they're unfortunately un-tradeable so Ros is still left to do the long run from the bank. Ros did however, manage to get herself lvl 69 Ranged, lvl 71 Attack, and Combat lvl 89. 

As well as the second amulet, Nomadics reached lvl 77 Attack. He also finished off his day by killing Hespori for lvl 83 Farming.
