Year 2 - Week 4

 Wednesday 03/04

A Whole New Week

Ros kick starts our week by heading off to GotR, she stays there until lvl 63 Runecrafting, promising herself she wont dip in the rewards pool until shes hit a new level. She struggled, but she stuck to her promise and ot paid off! She managed to snag herself an Abyssal Needle (Which is a collection log item) but having previously managed to get all of the sized pouches she needed, she can now use that needle to make one Colossal Pouch, which will come in handy during GotR as it gives her the oppotinuty to make extra runes at the alters.

Mrs Ironman has been zooming around the map recently using Rune teleports so managed to snag herself lvl 58 Magic from doing just that, going across to Varrock, where she trimmed Gemstones Nomadics had kindly donated so that she could hit lvl 56 Crafting.

Ros then decided it was time to try out the pouch and headed back to GotR pouch in hand, she stayed for a short while and had another sneaky dip in the rewards pool where the RNG was in her favour and dropped some Abyssal Pearls, she used these with the ones she had saved to grab herself another collection log item and kick started the Guardians Outfit with Boots of the Eye. She then finished off the day at Wintertodt where the RNG blessed her once again dropping a Bruma Torch collection log item. She finished off the day with a Total Level of 1331.

Thursday 04/04

Back To The Grind(stone?)

Nomadics kicks us off today with his Dagganoth Rex Slayer task. Some may say ''a tale as old as time'' for poor ol' Mr Ironman and his RNG, but as usual, Nomadics was in luck but it was just a little backwards luck. Mr Ironman was hoping for a Berserker Ring drop from these kills, but boy oh boy did the Rex make him work for it! This time though, instead of going dry, he was drop teased. At kills 26, 28, 29, 30, 32 & 62 he received Shell legs, a great item, but not that great that you would want 6 of them...but not only that, they drop at a rate of 1/128, you may look at this and think ''wow, you got 6 of them that close together within such a low drop rate?'' but consider this, the legs are great, but the ring he wanted has the same drop rate...So in true Nomadics luck, not one of those 6 drops was the one item he wanted, so getting 6 of the same thing, as the same drop rate as the thing you're hoping for, so early, its almost cry worthy. Poor Nomadics, we hope your luck turns around soon! 

He did also receive the Rock Shell top at kills 58 & 64, so at least he has two sets? (lol) His luck did indeed turn around though and he received the ring drop at kill 73! See, Its not all bad for poor Mr Ironman!

Mrs Ironman had a slightly different day, she started off at Giants Foundry gaining lvl 62 Smithing, as well as enough points to buy a double ammo mould, which is a collection log item, and will help to make Cannonballs for Mr Ironman's Cannon. She then visited the blast mine for a quicker way to make bars, and while there, received a new music track. She then fancied something a little different, and took herself off to complete the quests ''Temple of Ikov'' and ''Troll Romance'' giving herself lvl 51 Ranged, lvl 51 Fletching, 8,000 Agility XP, 4,000 Strength XP as well as unlocking a further 3 new music tracks.

Friday 05/04

Questing & Skilling, Skilling & Killing

Ros was heavy on the questing today she started her day by completing the quest ''What Lies Below'' for 8,000 Runecrafting XP, lvl 51 Defence, lvl 69 Combat and a Beacon Ring, as well as unlocking a new music track. She then went off to tell the Historian some of her stories and earned herself some more Kudos at the Museum. She cooked some fish from her bank for lvl 70 Cooking, and went off to Wintertodt for lvl 65 Firemaking and receving and other collection log item drop of Burnt Pages.
She then completed the quest ''Watchtower'' where she completed a Medium Ardougne diary requirement, and gained 15,250 Magic XP as well as the Watchtower teleport spell. She then pickpocketed the Ardougne Knight for lvl 62 Thieving, and trained Woodcutting on a Forestry World giving herself lvl 64 Woodcutting and lvl 52 Fletching from Fletching the logs that she had cut. She then finished off her day by completing the Evil Dave part of the quest Recipie For Disaster and got herself a Hell Cat.

Mr Ironman had a killer day, (see what I did there, ha) He started off by killing Frost Nagua receiving a rare drop of Glacial Temotli, He did this to get the COmbat Acheivement from killing the Amoxliatl. While killing Frost Nagua he managed to get himself lvl 91 Strength. He then finished a second Basalisk Knights task with no drops (womp, womp) (but also, is anyone suprised at this point? lol) He did however, kill Greater Demons for a Slayer task and killed 5 Skotizo for the Combat Acheivement and received a Dark Claw drop. He completed the 4 Hard Clue scrolls he received from killing the Skotizo snagging himself a Blue D'Hide body (t), and finished off his day by Killing Sarachnis for the last Combat Acheivement he needed to complete the Medium Tier.

Saturday 06/04 

A Quiet Saturday

There really isn't much to report for today, Nomadics hasn't got an update for us and Ros had a quiet day, not getting much done for the day, She manage to squeeze in two things for us though. She teleported to the Watchtower in Yanille for a Ardougne Hard diary task and completed the quest ''Zogre Flesh Eaters'' unlocking a new music track, as well as giving herself 2,000 Ranged XP, 2,000 Fletching XP, 2,000 Herblore XP and the ability to make Relicym's Balm & Brutal Arrows.

Sunday 07/04

Grinding, Grinding, Grinding

Nomadics kicks us off today with some pickpocketing at the Ardougne Knights, getting himself lvl 75 Thieving allowing him to be able to steal from the Gem Stalls and Pickpocket Gnomes for the Fremennik and Western Province Hard diaries. He then completed the Easy, Medium & Hard Fremennik Diaries and used the Lamps he received from them on Herblore to give himself lvl 74 Herblore. He then used some Bones at the Ectopunctus for lvl 75 Prayer.

Ros had a full on day, she started off by completing a medium clue for an Armadyl Stole collection log item, and then went off to kill Harpie Bug Swarms for lvl 51 Slayer, She then went off to the Blue Dragon in Burthope Dungeon for another Slayer task and completed a Falador hard diary task as well as hitting lvl 59 Magic.

She then killed Bloodvields in the Stronghold Salyer Caves, unlocking a new music track as well as completing an easy combat task ''The Demonic Punching Bag'' and received a collection log item drop of Black Boots and reached lvl 61 Magic, and Hitpoints lvl 57, and Defence lvl 52 taking my Combat lvl 70 and reached lvl lvl 52 Slayer. She then went off to kill Morgresand completed a Medium Falador diary task and received a collection log item drop of ''Mudskipper Hat'' and Strength lvl 60. 

She then went off to take on Hill Giants, and reached lvl 55 Attack. She then decided she hadn't had enough so went off to kill Lesser Demons and unlocked a new music track and hit lvl 62 Magic, Slayer lvl 53, and 58 Hitpoints, giving me lvl 71 Combat.

Among all of this, she even managed to get a new PB at Tears of Guthix, completing a Hard task in the Lumbridge and Draynor diary. I then completed a medium diary task for Lumbridge by visiting a different Slayer master called Cheldar, I then went back to Bloodveilds and reached Defence lvl 53, and lvl 51 Prayer.

Monday 08/04

Slayin'

Ros kicked us off strong today, She started off at Bloodveilds and got herself lvl 63 Magic, She then went off to Brimhaven Dungeon for a Medium task in the Karamja Area and killed a Fire Giant for the Cobat Acheivement ''The Walking Volcano''. She then continued killing Fire Giants at the Stronghold Cave for lvl 54 Slayer, lvl 64 Magic, lvl 54 Defence and 59 Hitpoints. 

Ros was then tasjed to kill Brine Rats, she headed down to them and managed to bag herself a combat acheivement when she got the first one, and continued on until the task was complete getting herself lvl 65 Magic, She then finished off her night by killing Lesser Demons again and bagged herself lvl 55 Slayer, lvl 56 Attack, lvl 73 Combat, and lvl 55 Defence.

Nomadics took a pretty similar approach but due to the level difference, and the bigger and badder reward, he gets longer tasks, either that or Ros is more efficiant, I bet you can guess what excuse Ros is using..
When asked how for a summery of his day Nomadics said ''Slayer, Slayer, and more Slayer with a sprinkle of Hard Clues'' (do you see what i'm working with here?!) 
Nomadics spent his day killing Fire Giants, where he had a stroke of RNG favour (dont worry, we were shocked too!) and received all the pieces to give him a complete Dark Totem within that one task.

Tuesday 09/04

MOAR SLAYER

Ros kicks us off today by killing some more Bloodveilds for lvl 56 Slayer, lvl 66 Magic, and then went off for some Bird house runs, for lvl 55 Hunter.
She took herself off to the Farming Guild without using a teleport, so she could complete a Medium Kebos & Kourend diary task. She then went back off to the Stronghold slayer cave to kill Fire Giants and snagged herself lvl 56 Defence, 61 Hit Points and the RNG was truly blessing Ros tonight managing to snag not one, not three, not even TEN, but TWELVE ensouled Giant heads during that task. She then finished off the night with a Blue Dragon Slayer task for lvl 67 Magic, lvl 57 Slayer, & lvl 52 Prayer. 

Nomadics continued the Slayer trend by kicking things off with a Bloodveild Slayer task taking him to lvl 83 Slayer, unlocking the chance to get Spiritual Mages, he then completed a handful of Hard Clues, giving hima Guthix Page 1, meaning he only needs one more page to complete the Guthix book, he also received a Master Scroll book, allowing him to store all his clue scroll teleports in one place freeing up precious bank space, and also a Rune Cane, which is good for...Fashionscape?

After such a full on week, we've got some pretty big moves for Mrs Ironman on the stats, which we are looking forward to seeing what has happened to the Hiscore table thanks to all her hardwork!
